Lucasraps joins Def Jam Recordings Africa

Lucasraps has officially joined the Def Jam Recordings Africa family.

This comes just a few months after he signed to Bloc13 Entertainment, a new South African record label owned by his current manager, Edward Munyaradzi who is also known as King Tre Li.

Announcing the news of his latest career move, a happy Lucasraps took to Instagram where he published a video clip and captioned it with; God is Great.

Below is what Lucasraps said in the video clip;

I think it’s about time that I tell you guys that I am now apart of the Def Jam Africa family. Africa is about to take over the entire world actually, shout out to Def Jam, he stated.

The Durban native has now joined fellow rappers like Cassper Nyovest, Nadia Nakai and Boity to mention but a few who are all on the Def Jam Africa roster.

Lucasraps is further proving that he is the man of the moment, a few weeks ago, the 20-year-old rapper also got himself a R14 million house although he is only renting it but with the first option to purchase.

And in as well as this is good news for Luke Duncan Malong also known as Lucasraps, it might not be that good to hip hop’s motormouth, Nota Baloyi who recently predicted that Lucasraps’ deal with Bloc13 will end in tears.

But despite the fact that he has recently been busy signing deals and contracts, Lucasraps is still lacking in the music side of things and owes his fans new music as he has taken a bit long without dropping nice music.
