Nasty C joins Huawei, but forgets and tweets using iPhone

Yesterday evening Nasty C was revealed as the latest South African celebrity to join Huawei’s list of ambassadors as the telecom giant unveiled their latest mobile phones, the HuaweiP40 and HuaweiP40Pro.

The Juice Back rapper joined other Mzansi celebs like Boity Thulo, DJ Tira, Rouge, David Tlale, Thando Thabethe, and Tamaryn Green to mention but a few.

Now of course it was expected that young Nasty C would say something about his latest commercial move, he quickly engaged on Twitter and sent out a tweet.

But there was a little issue with his tweet as he instead used an iPhone to tweet, something that would obviously be offensive, especially in the eyes of Huawei.

I mean this is pretty obvious, you are announcing to your fans that you have just joined Huawei but then you tweet that announcement using an apple device, one of Huawei’s main competitors.

But soon he realised his small mistake and rushed to delete the tweet, only that some quick Twitter user had already taken a screenshot of this tweet.

The screenshot clearly shows that the tweet was made using ‘Twitter for iPhone’.

He then switched up and re-sent out the tweet using a laptop which obviously shows ‘Twitter Web App’.

Let’s hope that the people at Huawei SA did not see his initial tweet, but even if they did, it was only a mistake and the good thing is that he corrected it.
